Game
Translation

I am well-versed in translating UIs, game lore, in-game content, game rules, achievements, store pages and marketing materials.

Re-creating character speech portraits, idiomatic expressions, poems, puns and jokes while maintaining the message and vibe of the source is what I love the most about being an English to Russian game translator.

Editing &
Proofreading

As part of my editing and proofreading services, I am committed to teaming up with other linguists providing the English to Russian game translation and making sure everything is in order and no linguistic issues are left unattended.

Linguistic
Playtesting

To make sure the implemented Russian game translation is top-notch, I can thoroughly check the game to see if all the texts are displayed correctly and align with the context and visuals.

My PC allows me to playtest games with high system requirements. I also provide RU LQA services for mobile games.

About Me

Hello and welcome to my website!

My name is Svetlana. I am a freelance EN to RU game localizer, linguistic playtester, and avid gamer.

I hold a B.A. in Linguistics and work as a professional translator since 2017.

My passion for gaming has lasted for decades. I am drawn to games with deep story, rewarding exploration, immersive simulation elements and distinct artistic vision, and enjoy all sorts of genres (except gambling-related).

Interested in Russian game localization? Contact me, and I will be happy to make your game accessible to Russian-speaking audiences.

Portfolio

Many game localization projects I participated in have NDAs, so I am not able to share their titles here.
